Mazzoni Center will host its first ever HeartWorks Art Exhibit and Auction, April 18th through the 26th.
This event is already turning into a major cultural event for the City of Philadelphia, and organizers are hopeful that it will be a major fundraising event for Mazzoni Center as well.
More than seventy established and emerging artists are donating over one hundred pieces of contemporary art for this one-of-a-kind exhibit and auction.
HeartWorks is the brainchild of artist and event curator Christopher Veit, a patient of Mazzoni Center, who came up with the idea as a way to give back to the organization he credits with practically saving his life. (For more about Chris, and his inspiring story, click on the document link above).
